She Should Run Resource Center

In 2024, I took on the project of compiling our existing resources into a simple, easy-to-use starting place where women could take their first steps toward exploring the idea of running for office. We built a digital library with various filtering functions to ensure that a woman, regardless of where she was in her journey, could quickly find content, tools, and programming that would be relevant to her needs.

In addition to the work shown here, I also created Google Ad campaigns, built a Google Looker Studio data visualization dashboard to track KPIs, connected data collection to our Salesforce CRM, and routinely deliver insights on performance to stakeholders in order to make adjustments to UX and existing or upcoming content.

Content Audits

I began the project by auditing our existing resources, evaluating their performance through Google Analytics data, categorizing each item, and performing a thorough sweep of all internal and external links to them.

Work Plan

To facilitate collaboration among teams, I developed a work plan broken out by stage of development.

User Flow

I made sure to document the user flow which assisted in determining what assets were needed for each resources and made sure that we were continually driving users to related content.

Designing the layout

The most important part of the Resource Center was the filtering options. We have a lot of resources that vary in topics, type, time commitment, etc. So it was vital that we had a way for women to access what they needed quickly.

Launch!

Our Resource Center went live in early May, right on schedule. Post-launch activities included creating SOPs educating team members on how to edit and add resources in the back end, setting up metrics reporting dashboards, and creating a schedule for refreshing the library with new resources regularly.
